This guy stayed in the waterfall for 6 or 7 minutes just having fun
In case you were wondering, I’m out of the office this week learning new design skills to better serve you. I’ll be back next week with lots of fun things to share but here’s a photo I captured earlier in the week. The blackbirds are here in droves along with the warblers, finches, sparrows and titmice. On Monday I witnessed no less than 20 Cedar Waxwings alight in a holly tree.
How is it that these tiny creatures with barely an ounce of fat from stem to stern can bathe in icy water without freezing to death? They even seem to enjoy it. I step out in my flannel PJs and go numb before I get to the newspaper. Perhaps higher brain functions have their drawbacks.
