Reflections

A gentle reflection
Looking through all of the pictures I took at Bear Island I was struck by a recurring element. My favorite shots were those of reflective light. Over and over I had attempted to capture the balance of an object on the water.
I had this thought:
One can only see a true reflection in calm water.
If the water is too still, it will be clouded with green. If too rapid, it will distort the image. But if gently flowing, it will avoid stagnation and reflect perfectly.
Such is life. Such is your home. Such are you.
