Pelicans
October 7, 2009 – 8:19 amThe other day I heard a debate between an evolutionist and a creationist. They were debating the exact age of the world as we know it. They raged on and on at each other, spouting more and more accusations at one another. One said 300 million years and the other said 6000 years. Both spouted evidence that they truly believed was factual.
At one point the evolutionist lambasted the creationist with an insult. “According to your theory, man walked with dinosaurs. That’s simply preposterous!” Just as I heard that, a pair of pelicans flew by. I laughed out loud.
“What’s so funny?” they insisted.
“Don’t look now, but two dinosaurs just flew by” I said.
Happy day,

One Response to “Pelicans”
And they crawl around on the ocean floor and sun themselves on the grassy banks at Middleton Plantation.
My grandfather loved pelicans and I can still hear him reciting “it’s an amazing bird the pelican…it’s beak can hold more than it’s belly-can”
