A moment of reflection

On days like today, when the world seems quiet, I like to sit and reflect. Looking around my yard I was struck by a sense of sobriety and finality.  It was as if everything pushed towards completion. Heeding the suggestion, I too paused. For a brief moment I glimpsed nothingness. A second later, gratitude paid a visit. So often we rush from one thing to another, rarely giving ourselves the time to thoughtfully consider what was.  Perhaps it’s our addiction to doing, or our fear of inertia, two sides of the same coin.

In nature, all things come to fruition and then pause before starting the cycle again. It is the natural order of things. So today, I hope you will take a moment to stop and just sit quietly.  Who knows, you may just get inspired.

Happy Day.
