Seeing the invisible

Spiderweb on a fig tree
As the sun rose on this rainy morning I witnessed something magical. Every surface was covered in spider webs. Perhaps they are there every morning but I only notice them today because of the rain.
Which, of course, made me ponder. What else is right in front of our eyes everyday that we do not see? Beauty? Tragedy? Opportunity?
Since this “crisis” began, I have found that I do not wish to watch television as much. Who needs to be told how bad things are? And, who really cares whose fault it is, honestly! What we really want is a positive vision beyond the current situation.
Sure, things are going to get worse before they get better, but there’s a saying. The best things in life aren’t things.
